Art

This week I worked on my stone carving and made the detail lines deeper. Also I painted my coil pot purple and red. I also printed my lino print. I did lots today and I'm proud of my work.

Next week I will be doing the last coat on my coil pot and sanding my stone carving.

Art

This term I have been working on my stone carving, it is a crocodiles foot.

I am at the stage of adding the fine detail this is a slow process so it will take a while.

When I have accomplished the crocs foot I will paint my clay coil pot .

Both these pieces will be going in the art exhibition.

Cartooning

Today I finished cartooning. I drew a dog out of the cartooning book and the whale from the video clip. I think that the dog was better because I could take my time. The video was too fast for me I couldn't keep up and missed some things out. But over all I enjoyed myself doing the activity.

Talent Development

Today for talent development I worked on my clay sculpture which is meant to be a coil pot and it is going to have lots of different dragon body features like eyes and feet and they will be coming off of it.

drama

Today Karen and I did drama. For drama we were an electric mixer I was the bowl and Karen was the mixers. The point of this activity is what you can hear so you actually know what we are acting out. (here it is below)

Talent Development

Today for talent development I used clay to sculpt a chameleon foot (it is the one above)

I think a goal for me would be to work on the texture so it will look more effective.

I am going to practice at home to help me improve. To add texture I am going to use a drawing pin and try to use the bottom of a sifter to get a scaly affect.

Today at Enrich for talent development I went on an ipad and looked up pictures to sketch like the one above it is a chameleons foot because they fascinate me . Next week I am planning to do a paper mache chameleon foot like the one above.
