Olivia, throughout your project you gained a huge amount of information and spoke to many experts. You have used this information well to create an informative pamphlet for children on looking after dogs and puppies. It was excellent that you took this to schools to distribute to their students. You remained open to continuous learning throughout the process of your project as you changed and adapted your thinking.

This is some information that S.I.T gave me last week. It is about the top ten puppy names in Auckland , Wellington and ChristChuch.

Southern Institute of technology visit

This is me when I visited Southern institute of technology they gave me a book of puppy care and pamphlets also samples of puppy food and puppy shampoo, they also gave me a poster of all the dog breeds. Today was a special day at SIT, it was a day where people could take their dogs to get checked.

This is when I went to the vet he gave me some of the information below.At the Vet I got to go in the staffs fancy staff room.

Stages of a growing puppy

This is the stages of a growing puppy. I found out this information from the experts I contacted. The experts I contacted are the Vet and Karen who is a dog breeder. Up the top are some questions I asked and the answers I got from the experts.

This is some photos I took visiting a dog breeder she answered some questions and gave me lots of infomation. She breeds sheties and this is the only puppy that survived in the litter, because it is the only puppy she put a toy in with it for warmth and comfort.

Olivia you used a range of habits of mind and most importantly you remained open to continuous learning throughout the process, it was great to see your persistence with the paper mache pay off when you got the wrinkles in your mask to go the way you wanted, they certainly made a real difference! You also applied yourself to the charcoal sketching with some great results and willingly took responsible risks when blending paint. I'm looking forward to seeing you use these skills again in your next piece of art.
